Brewers vs. Cardinals MLB Pick – August 19th

The Milwaukee Brewers will head to St. Louis after a Few Crazy times in Washington from the Nationals.

Saturday night was a great wild, but Sunday was a mad poor day for the Brewer pitching yesterday afternoon. The Brewers outlasted the Nats at 14 innings for a 15-14 win in a fun game for those fans. It was not a fun game at all for its bullpens.
The Brewers‘ bullpen required the lengthy event . Their pitching team that was weary got hammered yesterday day allowing 16 runs at a 16-8 reduction. Milwaukee additional 4 9th inning works to soften the blow to produce the score a little more respectable.
Chase Anderson got off to a dreadful start Sunday to set the wheels in motion for a difficult day on the bulge. Anderson allowed 10 earned runs in only 2.1 innings and then Aaron Wilkerson was tagged for five earned runs in 4.1 innings. The crime was not likely to be making that up, so it was an early loss for the Brewers because one.
The Brewers are right in the middle of a tight NL Central along with wildcard race at the National League. They have a good chance of winning one of both or nothing in any way. This is a vital series for the Brewers and Cardinals.
Between the Brewers, Cubs, and Cardinals there are only two games separating everyone in the NL Central. The Reds and Pirates are outside, but everyone else is still in play in the division. Having a powerful series over the Cardinals and the Cubs slipping upward this week, the Brewers could be atop the NL Central at the end of the week. A little simpler said than done.
Zach Davies, that was the best pitcher at the Brewers‘ rotation, will look to react after struggling mightily recently. The Cardinals are expected to counter Dakota Hudson. Head under for our complimentary Brewers vs. Cardinals select.

Zach Davies is a top choice for the Brewers in their turning this season. While nearly all the turning was fighting, Davies was that the one outlier who was delivering to the bump. It was very remarkable and Davies was on pace to break his past career-high ERA of 3.90 set in 2017. I will ignore the 3.71 ERA he published at six starts as a newcomer since it was not a full year .
Davies is clearly on pace to beat an ERA of 3.90, but he is making it difficult on himself down the stretch. Davies enters with an ERA of 3.74 and 1.39 WHIP, but his recent excursions are putting a career-high in uncertainty now. He posted a 11.77 ERA, 2.00 WHIP, and .400 OBA within his previous three starts, allowing 18 runs in 13 innings of work.
Davies also hasn’t performed well from the Cardinals in his career. The Cards are hitting .300 with 21 runs dozens on Davies in 130 at-bats. In his last trip to St. Louis, Davies was great however, the Cardinals were better with a 4-3 victory. Along with Davies struggling lately, their bullpen is likely going to be tired after the previous two times in Washington.
Dakota Hudson has been coming off a standout performance against the Royals in Kansas City. He shuttered the KC lineup for no more runs across 6 innings of work. The Warriors looked after the rest, as the Cards enjoyed a 6-0 triumph. Hudson has allowed more than 3 runs in just 2 from 25 appearances. Using just one game with over 3 runs scored against him, Hudson has become the model of consistency, since April 21st. Anticipate the Cardinals to open a large series from an inter-divisional competitor with a triumph in Busch Stadium on Monday night.
